A Legacy of Preservation

The Ebohon Cultural Centre, also known as the Ebohon Centre for Art, Traditional Religion and Witchcraft, is a profound institution for research into African Arts and traditional sciences.

Founded and nurtured by High Priest Dr. Osemwegie Ebohon in 1965, the Centre began in a small one-room gallery on Mission Road. It later moved to his maternal home at Ibinadolor Street before establishing the present magnificent site at Odenede Street.

Today, the Centre stands as the most spectacular achievement of his career and a testament to the greatness of the Great Benin Kingdom.

Objectives & Vision

"Our mission is peace, non-violence, and a culture of understanding in religion and medicine."

We are dedicated to the teaching of origin, history, truth, and the total eradication of fraudulent, commercial, or demonic religions imported into our land.

The Centre serves as an instrument of preservation and protection for the vast wealth of culture and traditions of the Benin people.
